Petrol Prices in 2011

Petrol rate is just going high, in different cities different rate.  Where as in other countries it was not so high. In 2011 this is 5^th hike on petrol price. The first hike is on January, after 4 months gap on May month they announced 2nd hike on petrol price. After that every 2 months gap there is hike on petrol price.

Petrol Suckers/Thieves:-

Already people are suffering lot due to hike on petrol price apart from this they are facing another problem caused by petrol suckers.

I know thieves who are stealing gold, money etc. But, very first time I am seeing the petrol thieves. Due to continuous increase in petrol price, petrol thieves also increased. Their main targets are big apartments. Where they can find minimum 25 to 50 cars to steal petrol.

First, when I heard this news, I thought it might be a rumor because in big apartments surely watchman will be found.

But, badly I experienced the same in my apartment. Yes, in my apartment there are 40 – 45 cars were parked.

One day morning, I found my apartments gents were so tensely discussing something. After inquiry I came to know that petrol was stolen in 15 cars. By cutting the petrol pipe they sucked all the petrol from car where 12 cars have tankful of petrol.

So trickily they sucked the petrol! Were we did not found even a drop of petrol on the ground (my doubt, this might not be happen without watchman co-operation) because 4 cars were parked next to his bed.

Hyundai car owners spent Rs. 2800/- to change the petrol pipe (Hyundai spare parts are costly).Including petrol price they lost around Rs.5000 – 5500.
