Google made an announcement on Wednesday it is progressing out an important redesign for its Google+ social networking platform. It will allow users to build more customized experience on the site.
The firm said that in the next few days it will introduce a variety of new features to the site, from modifying apps and the navigation bar to more flexibility with profile pages and portraits. This update will introduce a fresh Explore page that posts what’s fascinating and trending across the site.
Now Google+ will offer profile pages, it will include big pictures, a la Facebook’s Timeline, and feature a chat list that places friend’s in front and center on your page. The other major update involves how users can navigate around the news stream. As an alternative of static icons at the top, there is a ribbon of apps on the left. This ribbon permits users to drag apps up or down to form the order, hang over certain apps to disclose a set of fast actions and display or hide apps by moving them out of the section.
All these powers will make it easier to access your favorites. It also adjust your favorites in time .
Google senior vice president Mr. Vic Gundotra wrote on Google’s Official Blog. “We’ve also built the ribbon with the future in mind, giving us an clear (clutter-free) space for The Next Big Feature, and The Feature After That. So stay tuned.”
A dedicated Hangouts sheet has also been added to the site, so that people can also have a quick access to public and on Air video chat hangouts. Tese facilities will allow Google+ users to meet new people and watch live broadcasts, as well as move in to a new rooms thro’ a spinning billboard of Hangouts.
Gundotra also said that “It is an initial days, and there’s plenty of things left to do, but we’re more excited than ever to build a seamless social experience, all across Google,”
