How Do Patience Gives Beneficial Things

Every one of us would agree that patience is a good quality; we admire it and desire it. Those of us who need it most are least persuaded to foster it, however .We need patience to develop patience. Arnold Glasgow stated, “The key to everything is patience. You get the chicken by hatching the egg, not by crushing it.” In the long run, you will find that patience with people is beneficial to you. But you may not see a return right away. It may be something you may wait for.

 

If you are an impatient person and have a hard time prioritizing patience now then understand this: the people around you benefit from it immediately. As Greek philosopher Aristotle noted, “The greatest virtues are those which are most useful to other persons.”

Anything really worthwhile in this life takes time to build, and that’s true of relationships. The more people involved in the relation circle, the longer it takes .For example, think about how long it takes for a work group to develop proper work relationship. Two or three people can get to know each other and learn to work together fairly and quickly. It takes 5 people a lot longer.

The bigger the group, the longer it takes. So to develop patience, you have to practice the exchange principle. You need to appreciate how other people think and be sensitive to how they feel. Every person thinks ……….

In other words, each of us thinks our circumstances warrant special consideration – people should be extra patient with them. Recognize that all relationships have Give-Ups, Give-Ins, and give-and-takes. Nobody can make you give up, give in and give and take. They are voluntary activities. But if you want relationships to last, you’ve got to be flexible.
